| Parents: Gerald S. Seminatore BEAUFORT, S.C. — Gerald S. Seminatore, 68, died on Saturday, September 27, 2003 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital. Mr. Seminatore was born on August 10, 1935 in Medford, Mass., a son of Christina Surrett Seminatore and Gerald F. Seminatore. He attended Boston University and was graduated from St. Anselm College in Manchester, N.H. He received a Master’s Degree from the University of South Carolina. A retired Navy Lieutenant, he taught school in Groveton, N. H. and in later in Hampton, S.C. In the 1960s Mr. Seminatore bought an ice cream stand on Route 2 in Lancaster, N.H., and built it into the Prospect View truck stop and restaurant, which he owned until the late 1980s. Survivors include his wife, Dianne Nelson Seminatore of Beaufort; a son, Gerald Seminatore of California; two daughters, Catherine Seminatore of Brattleboro, Vt., Linda Seminatore-LaFerriere of Hudson, N.H.; five sisters, Marie Seminatore, Marjorie Seminatore, Helen Seminatore, Barbara Seminatore, all of Burlington, Mass. and Loretta Levasseur of Laconia, N.H.; and one grandchild. |
